Where the data comes from

Exclusively from public company filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, that is forms 10-Q and 10-K. We read them two ways. Structured XBRL data straight from the filing comes first; where a company doesn't tag its revenue breakdown that way, we read the table in the statement instead. Every diagram says which of the two was used.

What you won't find here

No price targets, no buy or sell recommendations, no forecasts, no stock ratings. We are not a licensed or regulated investment services provider and this site is neither investment advice nor research. It is a visualisation of publicly available numbers.

Limits worth admitting

• Figures are rounded to tenths of a billion, so this is not built for cent-level sums.
• Banks and insurers structure their statements differently; they only partly fit this template.
• A company can change how it reports between quarters. We take it as reported.
• Diagrams are generated automatically. If you spot a mistake, tell us. We'll fix it, and it's on us.
